Advocacy & Sensitization
We lead impactful advocacy and awareness campaigns against gender-based violence, child labor, human trafficking, female genital mutilation (FGM), Menstrual hygiene and substance abuse. These campaigns are held in schools, churches, and local communities. Using workshops, sensitization sessions, printed materials, and strategic partnerships to educate, empower, and protect vulnerable groups, especially women and children. Through these efforts, we aim to shift mindsets, uphold rights, and create safer, more just environments for all.

Life Skills & Vocational Training
We run skill acquisition programs that equip women, girls, and youth with practical, income generating skills such as soap making, tailoring, makeup artistry, food processing, and digital technology. These trainings are designed to foster self-reliance, boost financial independence, and open new career paths especially for the less privileged, school leavers, and widows. Participants also receive mentorship, startup kits, and ongoing support to help turn their skills into sustainable ventures.

Climate Action & Environmental Stewardship
We promote a greener, healthier future by engaging in tree planting, delivering climate education, facilitating creative waste upcycling, and building grassroots partnerships that drive community-based environmental action.
Our Gallery

We are empowering young people through creative sustainability initiatives that combine art, education, and environmental action. In partnership with Apoti Lagos, we held an Art and Wood Workshop for post-secondary students to develop hands-on skills in woodworking and design. At New Era Girls Senior Secondary School in Lagos, our Waste-to-Wealth event taught students how to upcycle everyday waste into useful items. Additionally, through a partnership with the Waste Museum in Ibadan, we transformed waste materials like noodle wrappers, detergent packs, and ceramics into vibrant art pieces—demonstrating the power of recycling and innovation in youth development.

As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability and climate change advocacy, the Shunamite Foundation, in collaboration with our partners, has organized several tree-planting exercises across Nigeria. From the vibrant city of Ibadan in Oyo State to the heart of Enugu and beyond, these initiatives aim to raise awareness about climate change and promote eco-friendly practices in communities.
By planting trees, we are not only restoring the environment but also educating the public on the importance of preserving our planet for future generations.
Together, we are growing a greener, healthier Nigeria.
